About Design
As one of the founding fathers of modern Italian design, Vico Magistretti was known for his philosophy, “There is no excuse for bad design.” Born in Milan, he studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan and later collaborated with renowned architect Ernesto Nathan Rogers.
