About Designer
Mario Bellini, born in Milan in 1935, is a celebrated architect and designer, honored with eight Compasso d'Oro awards and 25 works showcased permanently at New York's Museum of Modern Art. Editor of Domus magazine from 1985 to 1991, he curated global exhibitions. Bellini received the Golden Medal for Architecture from the Milan Triennale in 2015, with a subsequent global retrospective in 2017. Studying at Politecnico di Milano, he later taught at Venice's Higher School of Industrial Design and founded his studio in 1973. Bellini's influence extends to academia, where he has conducted workshops at universities worldwide.
